Elevate Daytona Beach presented by AdventHealth
The Confrontation. Lessons from the In-Between. The Growth Is in the Wobbles. What's Life? These are just a few of the topics to be presented this year at Elevate Daytona Beach presented by AdventHealth. Planning is underway for this year's event, scheduled for Thursday, August 6, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Peabody Auditorium.
On the evening of August 6, the Peabody Auditorium doors will open at 5pm for a social hour with the return of the Elevate Expo: A Nonprofit Showcase. We're excited to feature the organizations in our community who are working daily to Elevate the region.
Theaters doors will open for seating at 6:15pm. Elevate Daytona Beach will begin promptly at 6:30pm.
Every attendee will receive one ticket for a complimentary beverage which is good for water, soda, beer, or wine. Cocktails and additional beverages will be available at the attendee's own expense. Concessions will be available for purchase including popcorn, candy, chips, and pretzels.

Policy & Progress Series: Florida's Property Tax Future
Join the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce for our NEW Policy & Progress Series presented by our Advocacy Champions (AdventHealth, Charter Spectrum, Daytona Beach Area Association of Realtors, Daytona International Speedway and Nascar, and WastePro). The topic for this event is Florida's Property Tax Future. Our expert panel will provide insight into Florida's Amendment 3 (2026) - Save Our Homes From Excessive Property Tax and explain the potential benefits and challenges that it's passage would pose to homeowners, businesses, and local governments. The panel will also discuss what the future of property tax discussions may look like and what future proposals for property tax relief may entail. 04/23/2026 - Quiet Light: The Art of Sara Pedigo
Sara Pedigo is an artist whose representational work celebrates the poetics of light and quotidian experience. She spent her childhood in the Piedmont region of South Carolina before relocating to northeast Florida, where she has predominantly lived and worked for more than three decades. Pedigo earned her MFA in Painting from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2007. She currently serves as Professor of Fine Art at Flagler College in St. Augustine, her undergraduate alma mater. In her dual role as artist and educator, she maintains an active studio practice while teaching drawing, painting, and advanced studio coursework. Pedigo has exhibited nationally in both solo and group exhibitions.
06/04/2026 - The World We Make: Art of Izzy Losskarn & Jeff Schofield
In this art exhibition, Isabella (Izzy) Losskarn and Jeff Schofield comment on the wasteful aspects of contemporary society, through brightly colored assemblages and hyper realistic imagery that challenges the viewer to reflect on mass consumption, over-production, and the manufactured business of everyday life. Izzy Losskarn is a pastel artist, researcher, and writer who uses visual metaphor to criticize the intersection of capitalism, sex, and gender. Jeff Schofield is both a sculptor and an architect by training. His artworks comment on human transgressions of natural and constructed environments. Museum hours are Monday-Saturday, 10 am-4 pm; Sunday, 12-4 pm
