04/23/2026 - Quiet Light: The Art of Sara Pedigo
Sara Pedigo is an artist whose representational work celebrates the poetics of light and quotidian experience. She spent her childhood in the Piedmont region of South Carolina before relocating to northeast Florida, where she has predominantly lived and worked for more than three decades. Pedigo earned her MFA in Painting from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2007. She currently serves as Professor of Fine Art at Flagler College in St. Augustine, her undergraduate alma mater. In her dual role as artist and educator, she maintains an active studio practice while teaching drawing, painting, and advanced studio coursework. Pedigo has exhibited nationally in both solo and group exhibitions.

Artist Mary Wentzel will guide participants in creating a monochromatic, abstract painting on board. All materials are provided and no art experience is necessary!
