The West Volusia Regional Chamber of Commerce announced the addition of Lisa White as the new Executive Director. Mrs. White was hired after a meaningful and extensive national search culminating in December of this year.
Mrs. White joins us with a background in non-profit, volunteering, events and planning. She holds a Masters degree from Concordia University in Montreal and has more than a decade of community involvement in the Volusia county area. She brings with her a plethora of active, strong relationships with local businesses, charities and other area chambers of commerce.
West Volusia Regional Chamber of Commerce President Kelly Moore stated: “We are excited to have found a local candidate, someone already familiar with the community and business landscape and established relationships here. Lisa will bring high energy, strong, local relationships and successful event execution to our organization. We anticipate a year filled with increased membership engagement and well organized events that will support our businesses, community and membership.“
Stated Mrs. White, “I come from a family of volunteers, helpers and hard workers within the community. I believe in strengthening business relationships, as well as connecting local resources to our membership needs. I look forward to improving community engagement and improving our member’s exposure.”
